About us...

Theater-16 is an entertainment production company, not an agency. For 30 years we have created, designed, built, scripted, and produced shows for theme parks, fairs, festivals, corporate trade shows, marketing campaigns and special events. This means that we can offer your event unparalleled flexibility in show packaging, program design and sponsorship integration. We literally have something for everyone. For 25 years, Theater-16 has produced Captain Billy's School of 5 String Banjo, a musical show exploring the history of America's original folk instrument, the 5-string banjo. Strolling Entertainment can be summarized as acts that perform their show on the go.
They are extremely versatile, easy to produce, and effective for all ages. We are proud to offer the Walking Puppet Stage™ for pure strolling entertainment.

Our other strolling attraction is the award winning old time banjo music performed by Captain Billy Banjo.

Found Space Acts are similar to strolling entertainment with one big difference; they must find a suitable area in which to perform. One spectacularly successful act of this kind is our Traveling Game Show™, which really draws a crowd.

Self Contained Acts, as the name implies, provide everything needed for the production of the show. You provide the location, seating and power, and we provide the show. This type of show is a great way to increase your entertainment offerings for events with limited performance facilities. Theater-16 offers several self contained acts.

Stage Acts are the most familiar to event producers. You provide the stage and the act performs the show. Stage acts can range from amateurs to experienced headliners. Many events have limited stage availability, so our stage acts are also offered as self contained entertainment.

The most comfortable way for an audience to watch a show is when it's on a stage, but many events do not have enough stages to present all the entertainment they would like. Theater-16 has creatively, addressed this issue by offering three different stages. Two of these are mobile, made to be set up and taken down daily, and can be used virtually anywhere. The smallest is the Postage Stamp Stage at 4'X6' - the newest is the Wagon Stage at 6'X8'.

Our featured stage is the FairTime Theater™, which is designed to be set up in one location for the run of the event, and offers great sponsorship opportunities . All of our stages include a coordinator/stage manager/performer.
